AIR PASSENGERS TO CANADA REQUIRED TO PAY FOR C$2,000 HOTEL QUARANTINE

All air travellers to Canada will be obliged to quarantine in a hotel at their own expense for at least three days on arrival, under strict new travel restrictions announced by Justin Trudeau in response to new variants of the coronavirus.

Announcing the measures on Friday, Trudeau also said that all airline services to Mexico and Caribbean destinations will be suspended until 30 April. n addition to the pre-boarding test Canada already requires, the government will be introducing mandatory PCR testing at the airport for people returning to Canada.
